Here we have the components removed from an s55 engine that you will need to convert your N55 engine to dual high pressure fuel pumps to achieve 600+ hp removed from a low mileage 2017 M4 with only 18,000 miles, 

All the major components needed to retrofit your later model N55 BMW F-Chassis with the single Bosch HPFP to the S55's dual arrangement. Fueling support for 600whp+ on straight E85. Can be adapted to any F-Chassis car that uses an existing single BOSCH HPFP with adequate tuning. 


This is an ideal upgrade for a Pure Stage 2 equipped BMW M2 (or others) to be able to max out the turbo and maintain 100% DME fine control direct injection without resorting to port or methanol injection techniques which can lead to engine failure if something goes wrong outside of DME control. This setup allows the DME to retain 100% fueling control giving the engine the greatest possible safety net. 

Mechanically everything will bolt into the car with little to no fuss. Engine timing is not disturbed when exchanging vacuum pump housings. No special tools are required for the installation. Depending on the DME version on the car you either wire the second pump directly to the existing second header on the DME, or you'll need a stand alone controller for the second pump. MEVD1726 do not have the necessary DME provisioning to control the second pump directly where as MEVD172G cars do. As a general rule PWG cars are 1726 and EWG will be 172G. Pins #4 and #18 on the A282*2B connector on the MEVD172G provide PWM signal to the second quantity control valve. 

Either way you will need software tuning on the DME to utilize the new fueling headroom, and to turn the second pump on within the DME. There are a number of tuners within the BMW community up to the task, and this hardware has already been successfully retrofit to a number of cars with fantastic results. This setup is key in ALPINA getting the N55 powered F30 B3 making the power it does well above the capability of a single BOSCH HPFP.
