Here we have a used engine removed from a 09-14 BMW S1000rr that had a severe front end collision which dislodged the tank and airbox and while it was in the salvage yard it got rained on and some water got inside resulting in some rustyness on the valves. Needless to say we never had the bike running after the accident however we did do a compression test which came back pretty good at 160-175 in all cylinders. While this may operate just fine as it is it is suggested to pull the head and clean everything up and put it back together before installation.
